We are so happy for Shaharzad & Bryce, one of fabulous 2009 couples. On November 5th at 3:05 am, they welcomed their precious son Zinedine into the world.
Shaharzad & Bryce were married on a cool January day in Issaquah at Pickering Barn.

Vanessa & Derek are one of our fabulous 2010 couples who recently had their engagement pictures taken by the always amazing Jim Garner of J. Garner Photography. They were thrilled to have their engagement session in Bellingham where they are currently students at one of my alma maters, Western Washington University. Checking out these inspiring shots, its easy to see why they wanted to have the pictures taken in Bellingham!
Vanessa & Derek have an incredible story of courtship, and have actually been in each others lives and dated since junior high school. We’ve had so much fun working with this young and vibrant couple and their families, and look forward to their wedding next year.
Get Hitched Give Hope is an amazing bridal giving event scheduled to take place for the second time at the Arctic Club Hotel on the evening of October 29th. Not only is it a fun wedding event, but it is also a charity fundraiser for breast cancer patients and their families.
Today we are featured on the Get Hitched Give Hope Blog as guest bloggers talking about mens fashion, because guys should definitely come to the event dressed to impress. The lovely wedding photographer and Get Hitched Give Hope Socialite Barbie Hull came to our home this week and captured some shots as we played dress up getting ready for the big night on the town next Thursday. Of course anyone who is familiar with our dog Buster understands he thinks he is the supermodel of Chihuahua’s, and would not stand for not being included in the shots. This is his, “Does this collar make me look fat?” face. He wanted me to remind everyone that they can see more pictures of him on our blog from a previous post HERE.
Over the past year we have had the pleasure of working with a dynamic couple, Angela & Jonathan Bailor, and an amazing group of vendors for a reality project for NW Bride TV called Meet the Bailors. We did a previous posting about the reality show which follows us through the wedding planning process with the couple here. Their wedding took place at the iconic Sorrento Hotel less than two weeks ago, and it was an absolutely incredible event.
Jeremy with Endless Love Productions captured the day on video and surprised the couple with a same-day-edit that was shown at the reception and you can check it out for yourself HERE.
This was our second time featuring a same-day-edit at a reception and it is a truly magical experience for the couple and the guests of an event. Jen & Jody Photography shot throughout the day and took the stunning pictures above and below.

We could not be more thrilled with Urban Unveiled 2009. We had an incredible turnout at Benaroya Hall, and with the help of Rented Elegance, Pedersen’s Rentals, PNTA, Celeste Cooning, and Choice Linens, the space was transformed into a South Beach Chic party that was enjoyed by all. Tom Douglas Catering, Herban Feast, TASTE Events, and Lisa Dupar Catering all provided incredible bites. Novelty Hill Januik & Layer Cake Wines poured delicious wines, and Wolfgang Puck Catering supplied a refreshing cocktail for the evening.
It may have been 50 degrees outside, but things definitely heated up during the bridal fashion show by the legendary Luly Yang, and the Art of Giving raffle, when thousands of dollars worth of gifts were awarded to the guests of the show.
Above is a photo of the 24 x 30 oil painting done of the event on site by artist Sam Day. Sam painted Travis (in the gray suit) and myself (in the black pinstripe suit) towards the bottom left hand corner of the painting, along with our dear friend Luly Yang (in the white dress with the black belt). You can see our colleague and co-owner of Urban Unveiled Sharlane Chase with her daughter Anna, both in red dresses, on the lower level center stage behind the bride (where the fashion show, and later the raffle took place). The formal festivities were capped off with Sharlane’s boyfriend proposing to her onstage in front of the hundreds of guests in attendance…she said yes of course!

Fall has hit, but we have pictures from Vennessa & John’s tropical inspired wedding to prove that summer was here just a short while ago. Vennessa & John are one of our fabulous 2009 couples, and from the beginning they let us know that they wanted the wedding to be all about the celebration. We had a great time working with this fun couple and helping draw from her heritage with island inspired touches.
John & his family are big boaters, and they have been members of the Seattle Yacht Club for generations. They have seen many members of the family get married at the Seattle Yacht Club, so it was only fitting to have their nuptials there as well.
We had an incredible time working with Heather and Jon of One Love Photo who captured the big day and took these beautiful images. Jeremy of Endless Love Productions provided videography services.
The ceremony was held outside facing the water and the boats with the guests in a semi-circle around the couple, and Vennessa & John stood inside a circle of palm leaves and tropical flowers laid on the grass.
Vennessa did not want to carry a bouquet, so the ever inventive florist, Lea with Florarama Modern Design, created a fabric lined floral muff.
Following the ceremony Tahitian dancers performed for the group, while everyone enjoyed the show.
Everyone dined under the tent, then moved inside for dessert, toasts, and dancing.
The yummy treats were were provided by a personal friend of the bride & groom, Sweet Miniatures.
Vennessa changed into a shorter dress for the dancing portion of the evening. DJ services were provided by Seattle Parties, and DJ Sean had the crowd dancing all night long.
